Back road to Keighley used by cyclists while cars can use bypass, 40mph speed limit makes cycling less safe, otherwise people could commute by bicycle to and from Keighley. Consider cycle lanes and 20mph or 30mph speed limit.

Route signs, bridge, lock and ice-cream van on the towpath of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal (NCN route 696)
The surface of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal towpath deteriorates as it leaves the Leeds metropolitan area.
Cycle lane exists all the way down Road Ings. Not separated from motorised traffic, poorly maintained, not swept, too rough. Cyclists currently cycle away from this.
Going westwards through Saltaire, the space given to parking makes it unsafe for bikes to approach the lights. Just before and after the lights there are two lanes for motor vehicles and no bike lane. Cars going in nearside lane go too cl ... [more]

This is marked on maps as a route cyclists can use but there are big rocks which mean you need to stop to negotiate, and the route has been water damaged and overgrown.
There are a few schools in the area: a secondary girls school and a primary school. The area has mostly industrial and commuting traffic which is inconsiderate to cyclists, is very fast and often leaves a large amount of rubble on the roads ... [more]

The connection from the painted cycle lane to the parallel zebra crossing over to the segregated cycle track on Valley Road.
An unusual sign for a line-segregated footway. The cycle route crosses four crossings to get to Wakefield Road... #110661 Some of the toucan crossings do not have call boxes on both the left and right hand sides of the crossing.
This is perhaps not how the Dutch would approach a crossing of a main dual carriageway. Give Way to the traffic island?
A segregated cycle track on Valley Road. A bit surprising that half-battered kerbs have been used rather than the splayed ones used nearby on CS1 at #89793.
A dropped kerb at the end of the Waterloo Road car park for accessing the railway station and the cycle parking there at #110734. The path also continues to a flight of steps up to the Park Road bridge.
The path from the Waterloo Road car park ends at the Aldi car park, but another path connects across to Ferncliffe Road. Hazard tactiles have been used in place of cycleway tactiles.
The path from Bingley station to Ferncliffe Road and beyond to the Airedale Greenway passes the Aldi car park.
The Leeds & Liverpool Canal towpath approaching the Three Rise Locks in Bingley. The path is quite steep here for a short distance. Half way up the locks, a ramped footbridge leads across the dual carriageway to Keighley Road in Bingley.
The Leeds & Liverpool Canal towpath in Bingley. Actually quite noisy due to the dual carriageway over the wall.
